Tuco opens fire at Hank and Hank Kills Tuco and captures Hector. So he goes to find Jesse’s car and when he finds it, he finds Tuco. There’s a kinda lead that he gets that makes some suspect that this Jesse Pinkman might be with Walter White. He’s been missing for a couple of days and this leaves Hank to try and find Jesse.
source: Meanwhile Walter’s family is looking for Walter. However Walter comes outta nowhere and hits Tuco in the head and Jesse takes his gun and shoots him in the chest. Tuco’s become suspicious of Jesse and Walter’s behavior and takes Jesse outside the killer. When Tuco’s uncle ( Hector “Tio” Salamanca) sees Walter put poison in Tuco’s food. Walter and Jesse leave the junkyard and they try to get out of town but Tuco gets to them first and holds them hostage at Tuco’s uncle house and the middle of nowhere. Season 2 starts where season 1 ends and we find out that the guy that Tuco beat the living crap out is dead due to brain injuries. Walter and Jesse were dumbstruck by what they had seen. So season 1 ended with Walter and Jesse in the middle of a junkyard and they were with Tuco and after Tuco beat the living crap out of one of his members for next to nothing.

(Shot in Texas, the show’s over-the-top setting probably won’t do much to improve U.S.-Panamanian relations, though it should help eradicate jokes about Turkish prisons dating back to “Midnight Express.”)Īs always, the real proof here will be whether the series can keep dipping into the same bag of tricks without becoming ridiculous and caving in under the weight, which finally happened toward the end of last season. Most interestingly, the writers use the back-to-season-one template not only to live up to the title but to tinker with shifting alliances, with FBI Agent Alex Mahone (the terrific William Fichtner) - who had been Javert to Michael’s Jean Valjean - now trapped in the same prison, forcing him to try mending fences in order to survive. That puts the scary Lechero (Robert Wisdom, brilliant in HBO’s “The Wire,” and pretty damn good here) in charge, laying down harsh rules for settling disputes of the “Two men enter, one man leaves” variety, and not trusting the new arrivals. This time, however, it’s Michael (Miller) who finds himself behind bars, in a prison so bleak that the authorities have pulled back and are simply allowing the inmates, literally, to run the asylum.

Without giving too much away, suffice it to say that the two brothers at the show’s heart - having survived a jail break and plot to kill them reaching up to the President of the United States - land themselves in the center of what appears to be another elaborate conspiracy, thus qualifying as the unluckiest TV family ever.
